K Raheja & IHG Team Up to Elevate Powai’s Hospitality Landscape
A pre-opening puja ceremony was held for the K Raheja Group’s future Mumbai hospitality complex, which is being developed in collaboration with IHG Hotels and Resorts. The project is located in Powai and is set to open in 2026.
The celebration was hosted by Vijayta Raheja, Nikhil K Raheja, and Sudeep Jain. The event was attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The construction, which includes a dual hotel complex and a convention center, is part of Mumbai’s growing hospitality and event infrastructure. The project is projected to have around 300 rooms, 13 conference spaces, several food and beverage outlets, landscaped lawns, and designated locations for public and private events.
The K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts are collaborating to provide an integrated hospitality offering that will cater to both business and leisure travelers, as well as the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) segment.
Speaking at the event, Vijayta Nikhil Raheja said, “Maharashtra continues to lead as one of India’s most progressive and investment-friendly states, driven by a strong focus on infrastructure, ease of doing business, and forward-looking governance under the leadership of our dynamic Chief Minister. Developments such as these further strengthen the state’s position as a preferred destination for tourism, business, and global investments.”
CM Devendra Fadnavis emphasized the need of large-scale integrated hospitality projects in boosting tourism and business activities. He added that such developments help to boost Mumbai’s standing as a conference and event destination, and he praised the collaboration between the K Raheja Group and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
The project represents continuous investments in Mumbai’s large-format hospitality infrastructure, with a focus on increasing conference and event capacity. The ceremony marked a milestone in the development, which is intended to benefit the city’s hospitality and tourism sector once completed.
