2 – Organic India 

Organic India collaborates with small family farmers to grow thousands of acres of sustainable organic farms in India. Their famous tulsi teas are organically certified, high in antioxidants, and available in a range of flavors, including ginger, lemon, ashwagandha, and jasmine. They also offer caffeine-free versions, such as Tulsi Ginger Turmeric and Tulsi Sweet Rose.

3 – Tea Trunk

Tea Trunk, founded in 2013 by tea sommelier Snigdha Manchanda, sources tea directly from growers to create unique blends such as marigold green tea, rose oolong tea, and masala chai black tea. Their mission is to obtain high-quality teas from within India and make them available to tea enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.

4 – Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea House

Taj Mahal Tea, India’s first premium tea brand, was founded in 1966 in a tea taster’s chamber in Kolkata. They acquire their teas from gardens in Assam, Darjeeling, and the Nilgiris. Their selection includes loose teas, whole leaf tea bags, and the Gourmet Chai collection, which includes Karipatta Delight and Mint Masala tea.

5 – No. 3 Clive Road

No. 3 Clive Road is a luxury brand that specializes in hand-blended teas. At their New Delhi atelier, they create blends that echo the past, such as the Aurangzeb Blend, which features rose, jasmine, and marigold flavors reminiscent of Mughal Delhi. Similarly, their Jodhpur Blend incorporates blue cornflower petals, which are similar to the blue pigment used in the walls around the Mehrangarh Fort.

6 – Goodwyn tea

Goodwyn Tea, based in Kolkata, is a producer-owned tea company that sources tea from Assam’s century-old 6000-acre farms. They provide loose teas such as Kashmiri Kahwa and Single Origin Green Tea, as well as tea bags in chamomile and peppermint flavors, among others.

7 – Satori tea

This artisanal tea firm got its start on HillCart Road in Darjeeling, where creator Ashutosh Ghosh developed his passion for tea. They take pleasure in their uncommon tea blends, which include Apple Strudel, Caramel Dream, and Blood Orange.
