YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested on drug possession and other crimes in Miami early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

According to arrest documents obtained by US media, the influencer was producing video material while attempting to engage with police officers in the middle of the road, causing traffic to stop.

He was subsequently detained, and a police search turned up “half of an orange oval-shaped pill with 3 imprinted on it, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine” and three “suspected cannabis cigarettes”.

The 22-year-old is notorious for making controversial movies about pranks with titles like “I got kicked off a cruise” and “I crashed into a cop car”.

He is also notorious for recordings in which he mocks strangers on the street before fleeing behind his bodyguard.

He has almost 15 million YouTube subscribers, 10 million TikTok followers, and more than 2.8 million Instagram followers.

It is unknown whether Mr. Doherty has a lawyer. A spokesperson listed on his social media accounts did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
