The bank’s chief of client management, Rana Vikram Anand, and head of wealth and para banking, Anish Behl, have resigned, according to a statement.

Anand will remain in his role until April 1, while Behl’s tenure will end after January 30, the bank announced.

Anand stated in his resignation letter that he is leaving to seek other possibilities and expresses gratitude to the bank for all of its support during his term.

Behl stated that he wants to explore new potential in the insurance industry.

The two departures add to the string of resignations in recent weeks.

However, the bank has been actively working to enhance its senior management. According to the Economic Times, on December 8, the institution appointed Ganesh Sankaran to manage its wholesale banking group. On December 1, Balaji Narayanamurthy was appointed Chief Data Officer. Amitabh Kumar Singh had previously been appointed as chief human resources officer, according to ET.

Investors have criticized the bank’s board for a lack of control and delays in identifying accounting breaches in its derivative portfolio, which resulted in a damage to the bank’s accounts.

The lender’s stock closed 1.31 percent higher on the NSE on January 2 at Rs 901.85.
