After years of using chatbots and image producers, AI is finally exiting the screen. At CES 2026, this trend became impossible to deny.

The annual technology exhibition in Las Vegas was dominated by “physical AI” and robots, ranging from Boston Dynamic’s newly redesigned Atlas humanoid robot to AI-powered ice producers. The companies in attendance clearly want consumers to understand that AI is no longer limited to answering queries. It’s ready to transport automobile parts at factories, catch drones with net cannons, and perform at automaker booths.
